NutriSystem settles EEOC pregnancy discrimination case - Dallas Business Journal:

The EEOC alleged in the lawsuit that NutriSystem (NASDAQ:NTRI) fired Robyn Linenberg in November three weeks after she informed the company she was and only one month after placintg her in a leadershipo training program. Linenberg began working for the Horsham, Pa., weight-loss companuy as a temporary recruiter in its human resources department in 2005 and was madea full-timer employee later that year, the EEOC A consent decree requires NutriSystem to draft a policy prohibitinv pregnancy discrimination; establish a procedure for employeesa to complain about violations of the pregnanch discrimination policy; provide annual anti-discriminationn training to supervisors and managers; submi reports to the EEOC; and post a notice regardin the settlement of the The decree still must be approvee by a judge.
NutriSystek spokeswoman Delphine Carroll said Linenberg and the company agreedc not to comment onthe case. "Ift was resolved to the satisfactiobn of thetwo parties," Carrolkl said.
